Amazon Pay, Adyen, BillDesk secure cross-border payment licence from RBI

Three payment companies have secured the cross-border payment aggregator licence from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). These are Mumbai-based merchant payment company BillDesk, Amazon Pay, and global payments major Adyen.

They joined Bengaluru-based payment aggregator Cashfree in the list of licence holders. Cashfree was the first company to secure the PA-cross border licence.
