MediaTek VP calls tieup with Jio ‘game changing’

New Delhi: MediaTek believes that its collaboration with telecom market leader Reliance Jio to tap two wheelers and EV is based upon “game changing” business model, and the Taiwanese fabless chipset company is open to replicating the tie-up with other mobile phone operators.

“It’s a game changing partnership, and business model. They (Jio) do bring a lot of their competitive ingredients into our hardware,” CK Wang, vice president, IoT Business at MediaTek told ET.
