How Apple is doubling down on its India manufacturing plan

Apple is pushing India manufacturing, where the iPhone maker now assembles more of its devices and operates two flagship stores. Apple’s annual sales in India hit a record of almost $8 billion, underscoring that its make-in-India push is yielding results.

The US technology major’s India revenue jumped 33% in the last year. From $6 billion in March a year earlier, with iPhones accounting for over half the sales.
