Big Tech stocks nosedive as frothy valuations, AI jitters spook investors

Investors are ditching their favourite stocks, prompting a tech-led selloff, primarily driven by concerns over stretched Big Tech valuations and unrealistic expectations from artificial intelligence (AI).

A slump began earlier this week after disappointing earnings reports from US electric car maker Tesla and Google owner Alphabet, two of the “magnificent seven” stocks.
