Apple cuts prices of all its iPhones after customs duty relief
New Delhi: Apple has cut iPhone prices by 3-4% in India to pass on the benefits of customs duty reduction in the budget in a move that could spur sales and enhance the company’s share in the growing market for premium smartphones. Customers will be able to save between Rs 5,100 and Rs 6,000 when opting for an iPhone Pro or Pro Max model. Made-in-India iPhones such as 13, 14 and 15 series have seen a decrease of ?300 per unit, while iPhone SE will be cheaper by Rs 2,300.
Apple didn’t respond to ET’s queries, but the company has updated the new prices on its online store as well as its physical stores in Delhi and Mumbai.
