ChatGPT maker OpenAI to take on Google Search with new AI-powered search tool, “SearchGPT”

OpenAI, the artificial intelligence company behind the chatbot ChatGPT, is testing an experimental search product called SearchGPT. With this, the Microsoft-backed AI chatbot is directly challenging Google’s long-standing dominance in the online search market. This search, dubbed SearchGPT, will initially be available to a select group of users who’ve waitlisted themselves.
