Just days before the Paris Olympics, a drone was caught spying on the New Zealand women’s soccer team during a training session in St Etienne. The drone operator, identified as a support staff member of the Canadian women’s soccer team, was detained by police after New Zealand team, as reported by Reuters.
The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) expressed disappointment over the incident, offering an apology to New Zealand Football, the affected players, and the New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC).
