Amazon discontinues this 2-year old Echo Dot smart speaker

Amazon has discontinued its Amazon Echo Dot (5th Gen) with clock, reports The Verge. The Echo Dot (5th Gen) with clock was launched in 2022. As per the report, Amazon has discontinued the Dot with Clock in favor of Echo Spot. Introduced this year, Amazon Echo Spot replaces the dot-matrix display with a screen. It is currently available in the US for a price tag of $79.99.
