Elon Musk launches poll asking if Tesla should invest $5 bln in xAI
Billionaire Elon Musk launched a poll on social media platform X on Tuesday asking users whether Tesla should invest $5 billion in his artificial intelligence startup xAI.
Board approval and shareholder votes are needed, Musk said, adding that the poll is to “test the waters” for a deal.
Tesla did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment, while xAI could not be reached.
