Prosus CEO Fabricio Bloisi landing in August to take stock of business
Fabricio Bloisi, the new chief executive of Dutch-listed investment firm Prosus, which has invested about $7 billion in India, is set to make his first visit to the country in the second week of August, said people familiar with the matter. Bloisi, who took over the role in May, is slated to visit Bengaluru and Delhi on a two-day visit, they said.
The visit comes at a time when Swiggy, in which Prosus is the largest investor, is going for an initial public offering (IPO), while the fund had to write off its under 10% stake in Byju’s fully after putting in $500 million in the now beleaguered edtech firm.
