Microsoft Azure global outage: 12 flights cancelled, airlines told to inform passengers in advance regarding delays

The global outage of Microsoft Azure has affected numerous flight operations at Pune Airport after eight arrivals were cancelled on Friday. Seven departures were cancelled till Friday midnight as well and 12 more scheduled departures for Saturday were announced as cancelled.

“Airlines , AAI, CISF are on the job to provide all assistance to our esteemed passengers. Airlines are also providing information to the passengers concerned for these cancellations,” Pune Airport director Santosh Dhoke said.
