DoT has set this 5G payment deadline for Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone-Idea

India’s top telecom operators – Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio – have received demand notices from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the 5G spectrum they acquired in the recent auction. The deadline for payment is July 26.
The telcos have the option to pay the entire amount upfront or in 20 equal annual instalments.
