WhatsApp launches Favorites feature to prioritise your closest connections

WhatsApp is making it easier to stay in touch with the people who matter most. Today, WhatsApp announced the launch of its new “Favorites” feature, designed to streamline communication and prioritise those closest to you.

“Favorites” allows users to create a personalised list of their most frequently contacted individuals and groups within the app. This list will be readily accessible at the top of the calls tab, making it easier to initiate calls with your favourite contacts. Additionally, “Favorites” can be used as a filter for your chat list, allowing you to quickly find conversations with the people you interact with the most.
