Union budget 2024-25 should prioritise AI research: Experts

BENGALURU: As IT companies are increasingly focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI use cases, experts say the upcoming Budget should promote AI research and implementation apart from focusing on upskilling programmes.

In the interim Budget, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced that three centres of excellence for Artificial Intelligence would be set-up in top educational institutions.
