Salesforce cuts nearly 300 roles: Report

NEW DELHI: Software giant Salesforce Inc. has slashed nearly 300 roles in a bid to streamline operations, Bloomberg reported Tuesday citing a person familiar with the development.

The cuts were made this month, the person cited above told the news agency.

Like any healthy business, we continuously assess whether we have the right structure in place to best serve our customers and fuel growth areas,” a spokesperson said in a statement to Bloomberg, adding that in some cases, such a move leads to the elimination of roles.
