Google-backed Cropin Sage’s grid-based agricultural map launched to help seed manufacturers, food processors, govts

Cropin Technology, an AI platform for food and agriculture, on Tuesday announced the launch of Sage, a real-time agri-intelligence solution powered by Google’s Gemini. The announcement was made at Google Regional I/0 Connect, Google’s annual developer conference in Bengaluru.

“Cropin Sage converts the world’s agricultural landscape into a proprietary grid-based map with options of 3×3 meters, 10×10 meters, or 5×5 kilometers, delivering data and intelligence with scale, accuracy and speed,” Krishna Kumar, chief executive of Cropin told ET.
