Apple Watch saves surfer in Australian waters

A scary day at the beach for an Australian surfer turned into a happy ending thanks to his Apple Watch. Rick Shearman, who loves to bodysurf, got caught in strong currents at Tallow Beach and was swept far out to sea.

Shearman tried for about 20 minutes to swim back to shore, but the waves were too strong. He started to worry because no one knew he was in trouble.
