Why Home ministry and IT ministry want control of India’s cybersecurity agency

Two key ministries in India are reportedly strongly pitching for control over the country’s nodal cybersecurity watchdog, the Computer Emergency Response Team (Cert-In). According to a report in The Indian Express, quoting sources, the Information Technology ministry and Ministry of Home Affairs are making a strong pitch for the ownership of Cert-In.
