Jyotiraditya Scindia chairs first advisory meeting with satcom stakeholders

NEW DELHI: Union telecom minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday chaired the first advisory meeting with the stakeholders of the satellite communications (satcom) ecosystem to discuss areas of interventions and ways to improve the penetration of connectivity services pan-India.

“Chaired the first advisory Meeting with the stakeholders of the satellite communication ecosystem. With the aim of providing high quality telecommunication services, discussed areas of interventions to ensure higher penetration of reliable telecom services throughout the country,” Scindia, who also has the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region portfolio, tweeted on X (formerly Twitter).
