US chipmaker Analog Devices increases India headcount by 30%

Massachusetts-headquartered semiconductor manufacturing company Analog Devices increased its India headcount in sales and application teams by 30% in the last eight months, Vivek Tyagi, managing director of Analog Devices India (ADI), told reporters here on Wednesday.

The company, which has offices in Bengaluru, Gandhinagar and Hyderabad, currently employs 1,500 people in the country including 1,200 engineers, according to Srinivas Prasad, senior director and India site head at Analog Devices.
