Samsung Electronics’ largest workers’ union in South Korea has launched an indefinite strike, escalating their demands for better pay and benefits. The National Samsung Electronics Union (NSEU), representing nearly a quarter of the company’s South Korean workforce, announced on Wednesday that it would extend its walkout indefinitely after management showed no signs of engaging in negotiations.
