Homegrown telecom firms bat for DoT’s 5G-driven intelligent village initiative
NEW DELHI: Homegrown telecom firms said they would support the Department of Telecommunications’ (DoT) fifth-generation technology-driven initiative for enabling smart villages in the country.
“We have seen smart cities but the concept of an intelligent village is a new one and VoICE will provide all-out support for the success of the concept, and India’s success can be replicated to tens of thousands of villages not only in the country but globally,” RK Bhatnagar, director general, Voice of Indian Communication Technology Enterprises (Voice), said in a statement.
