Why mobile retailers want government to ‘ban’ this finance scheme

Smartphone retailers across India are urging for the elimination of zero down payment schemes while buying a new mobile phone. According to a report by Economic Times, the Organised Retailer Association has written a letter in this regard to TVS Credit, a non-banking financial company which facilitates loans to purchase smartphones.
