    Chandigarh woman loses Rs 80 lakh to SIM card scam: Here’s what happened

    A Chandigarh resident lost Rs 80 lakh after she received a call from fraudsters posing as a police officer. The caller told her that a SIM card in her name was allegedly being used in illegal activities. The victim, fearing arrest, agreed to the caller’s demand and transferred the money, reports Tribune India.
