WhatsApp to soon replace green badge with blue checkmark for verified businesses and channels
Meta-owned WhatsApp is replacing the green verification badge with a blue checkmark for verified channels and businesses. According to a report by WaBetaInfo, the feature has started rolling out to WhatsApp Beta users on Android. It is available with WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.14.18 update, which is available on the Google Play Store.
