OnePlus Nord 4 to mark big comeback moment for 5G metal phones, launch pegged for July 16
OnePlus is launching the Nord 4 at a “summer” event in Italy on July 16. Early images and leaks doing the rounds of the internet seem to suggest that OnePlus may not be looking to rebrand the OnePlus Ace 3V for this one. Instead, it appears a whole new smartphone is in the works with metal being its headlining feature, apparently.
OnePlus is going to great lengths to market the OnePlus Nord 4 as a big comeback moment for seemingly “affordable” 5G metal phones. On its official website, it refers metal-bodied phones as the “symbol of design excellence” which were “abandoned with the rise of 5G.” OnePlus itself hasn’t launched a phone with metal chassis after the OnePlus 5T from 2017. So, go figure.
