Motorola bets on premium Razr 50 Ultra to dethrone Samsung in foldable smartphones

Motorola launched its Razr 50 Ultra smartphone on Thursday, as the company aims to capture a larger market share in India and provide tough competition to Samsung in the high-end foldable smartphone segment.

Priced at Rs 99,999, Motorola’s Razr 50 Ultra sits in the ultra-high-end phone space, heavily dominated by Samsung and Apple. When folded, its length is halved down to a square, making it easily pocketable. The 50 Ultra boasts the largest external display to date at 4 inches, which is 17% larger than the previous generation model. It uses Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus to protect the external display.
