Airtel and Jio expected to log steady growth, Vodafone Idea may falter

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are likely to report steady sequential growth in the June quarter on the back of strong broadband user additions even though the impact of recent price hikes will hit home only by the December quarter, analysts said. Loss-making Vodafone Idea (Vi), however, is set to report a sequential dip in its June quarter revenue, hit by continued customer losses.

Analysts expect Airtel to turn in a better show on the average revenue per user (ARPU) front than Jio, helped by 2G-to-4G conversions and rising postpaid adoption.
