At the Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2024, Xreal launched the Beam Pro, a new Android-powered device that can be connected to the company’s augmented reality glasses.
The handheld device may look like a smartphone at first sight, but has no SIM slot and is only an add-on for the Xreal Air and Xreal Air 2 series models. Running on a customised version of Android 14 called NebulaOS, the Beam Pro is the successor to the company’s original Beam adapter and brings several notable improvements over its predecessor.
