Jio, Airtel, Vi mobile tariff hikes: Here’s how much it’s costing you

Jio and Airtel have raised mobile data tariffs in India across tiers, passing the costs to consumers, as major telcos are being squeezed by increasing costs and slowing subscriber growth. The new plans from Airtel and Jio are up to 25 per cent more expensive and will come into effect today. Meanwhile, Vi (Vodafone) plans to increase mobile tariffs from July 4.
