The European Union (EU) is reportedly looking into potential antitrust issues with big tech partnerships in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. According to a report by the news agency Reuters, this will include probing into the exclusivity clauses of both Microsoft’s deal with OpenAI and Google’s agreement with Samsung. The concern is that these agreements might stifle competition in the developing field of AI in the EU.
