WhatsApp for iPad gets its first major makeover, gains communities tab

WhatsApp for iPad is getting a much-needed overhaul with the latest release, which now includes a dedicated Communities tab. This feature, first introduced in late 2022 for Android, iOS, and web users, is now being rolled out to the iPad version of the popular instant messaging app.

However, the update, according to WABetaInfo, is currently limited to beta testers via the TestFlight app and is expected to roll out to everyone in the coming days.
