Telecom startup Velmenni says received grant under iDEX initiative for its Li-Fi tech

NEW DELHI: Velmenni on Monday said it has received a grant from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) under the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) for its Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology.

The New Delhi-headquartered startup said the grant will strengthen secure wireless communications for India’s defence forces, especially the Indian Navy.
