Government issues important warning for Mozilla Firefox browser

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has issued a high-severity alert regarding multiple vulnerabilities in Mozilla products, including Firefox for iOS versions prior to 127 and Thunderbird versions prior to 115.12. The advisory, dated June 27, 2024, underscores the potential for these vulnerabilities to be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code, bypass security restrictions, or cause memory corruption on the affected systems.
