Samsung may use MediaTek chipset for Galaxy S25 series: Report

Samsung may be planning to use Mediatek for its upcoming flagship phones. The Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to launch sometime in January next year, will reportedly feature MediaTek chipsets in some markets.

According to the South Korean news outlet The Financial News, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series may not be limited to Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets. While reports suggest that the upcoming flagship series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, rumour has it that Samsung is having trouble manufacturing the Exynos 2500, a chip based on the 3nm process.
