Instagram to let creators make AI chatbot versions of themselves with this new tool

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg seems to have come up with a new announcement of testing user-created AI chatbots. Reportedly, on Thursday Zuckerberg said that the company will begin to surface AI characters made by creators through Meta AI studio on Instagram.

The tests are expected to begin in the U.S. The social media company’s announcement came on the same day when Character.AI, a16z-backed chatbot company introduced the ability for users to talk with AI avatars over a call.
