5G spectrum auction ends on Day 2: Government raises Rs 11,340 crore, Airtel and Jio lead

The 5G spectrum auction ended after two days, raising only Rs 11,340 crore ($1.36 billion) for the government. This amount is much lower than expected, reaching only about 12% of the Rs 96,238 crore ($11.6 billion) the government had hoped to raise.
