Telcos bid for 5G worth ₹11,000 crore on first day of India’s second spectrum sale

NEW DELHI: The government received bids worth about Rs 11,260 crore after five rounds of auction on the first day of India’s second 5G spectrum sale Tuesday, with several bids for the 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz bands exceeding the base price. The auction will resume Wednesday.
