Microsoft’s OneDrive may auto-backup files by default during Windows 11 setup

Microsoft has reportedly changed the default settings for OneDrive in Windows 11. Previously, users had control over enabling automatic folder backup during the initial setup. Now, new users who are setting up a new Windows 11 PC with an internet connection and Microsoft account login (the “recommended” setup according to the company), may find OneDrive automatically starting to sync folders like desktops, pictures, documents, music, and videos.
