TRAI to Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone: Work on your apps and website

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has directed Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea and other telecom operators to enhance their mobile apps and web portals to make them more user-friendly for registration of spam call complaints and settings of preference. The directive comes amidst TRAI’s effort to mitigate the issue of Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC), commonly referred to as spam.
