Newgen Software shares price rises over 2% on inking $1.48 million pact

Newgen Software shares rise: Share of Newgen Software rose as much as 2.21 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 1,027 per share.

However, the stock were off highs, and were trading 0.55 per cent higher at Rs 1,010.20 per share. In comparison, BSE Sensex was trading 0.29 per cent lower at 76,984.22 levels.

The uptick in share price came after Newgen Software announced that its US-based subsidiary has secured an order worth $1.48 million from a client.
