New telecom law to come into effect from June 26: What the gazette notification says

Telecommunications Act 2023 will come into effect from June 26. The new telecom law will repeal existing legislative frameworks like Indian Telegraph Act,1885 and Indian Wireless Telegraph Act, 1933 owing to huge technical advancements in the telecom sector and technologies.
What does the gazette notification say?
As per the Gazette notification, certain provisions of the new telecom law including sections 1, 2, 10, and 30 will come effective from June 26.“The central govt hereby appoints the 26th day of June 2024, as the date on which the provisions of sections 1, 2, 10 to 30, 42 to 44, 46, 47, 50 to 58, 61 and 62 of the said Act shall come into force,” the Gazette notification said.
