He helps auto majors engineer their products
He made his first rupee selling lemonade as a Class VIII student at a school charity event in Tuticorin. “That’s when I learned that you can make money and, at the same time, make people happy,” says auto industry veteran Radha Krishnan. “It was a very hot day,” he recalls with a smile.
Radha Krishnan is founder and president of Detroit Engineered Products (DEP), which provides engineering services for end-to-end product development and a digital designing software catering to automobile and other industries.After completing mechanical engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and a brief stint at Tata Consulting Engineers, he moved to the US to pursue a Master’s. He worked as engineering consultant for some time and later joined US auto major General Motors.
