Groww investor alleges fund deduction without investment: Here’s what the company said

Trading platform Groww came faced criticism when a user claimed her sister discovered that the app generated a false folio number for her investments. The user, Hanendra Pratap Singh alleged in a social media post that the Groww app deducted money from his account without actually investing it in a mutual fund scheme.
When she tried to redeem the investment, she came to know the folio number did not exist and all details were allegedly “removed” from the dashboard.
