US bans this 27-year-old antivirus company: What Russia has to say

A day after the US government announced that it is banning the sale of Kaspersky antivirus software in the country citing security concerns, Russia has said that the decision is a typical move by Washington to stifle foreign competition with American products.
According to a report by news agency Reuters, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Kaspersky is a “very competitive” company on international markets and that the US decision to restrict its sales was a “favourite technique of unfair competition from the United States.”
