OnePlus Ace 3 Pro to feature thinner 6,100 mAh Glacier battery with 100W charging support

On Thursday, OnePlus announced that the Ace 3 Pro, launching early next week in China, will be the first smartphone equipped with the latest glacier battery technology. This innovative 6,100 mAh battery is touted to be thinner than the typical 5,000 mAh batteries found in most modern smartphones.

The new glacier battery, which powers the Ace 3 Pro based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, is expected to launch as the OnePlus 13R in India. It features a new battery chemistry with a silicon-carbon negative electrode, co-developed in collaboration with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), one of the biggest battery manufacturers in the world.
