Paytm employees cry foul after being asked to quit

Facing an uncertain future after the RBI’s decision to put an end to Paytm Payments Bank and the wallet business, scores of employees are being asked to “voluntarily resign” without prior notice. Several former and current employees told TOI that many have been denied severance pay and are being asked to repay their joining and retention bonuses.
