Elon Musk warns to ban Apple devices over OpenAI partnership

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has expressed his concerns regarding the deeper integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT on Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac and warned of banning these devices at his companies due to security violations.

In an X post, Musk wrote “If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation.” This indicates that employees working at companies like X, Tesla, SpaceX, xAI, and more might no longer be able to use iPhones, iPads, and Macs at their office premises very soon.
