Ashwini Vaishnaw retains IT Ministry, Jyotiraditya Scindia to be Telecom Minister

Ashwini Vaishnaw has retained the ministries of Electronics and IT and Railways and has been given additional charge of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. The Ministry of Communications, which was with Vaishnaw in the outgoing government, has been allocated to Jyotiraditya Scindia, who was previously Aviation Minister. Scindia has also been appointed as the Minister for Development of North Eastern Region.

Jitin Prasada of the BJP has been appointed as the Minister of State for Electronics and IT, succeeding the outgoing MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
