Microsoft is making this ‘big’ change to Windows 11 Recall feature, here’s why

Microsoft has announced that its artificial intelligence (AI)-based Recall feature for Windows 11 will be an opt-in one. Last month, the tech giant introduced this feature along with its latest Surface Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon chipsets. This feature lets users search for anything they’ve done on their PCs. However, Microsoft has decided not to make this a default feature on Windows 11 after it faced privacy concerns.
